•Maximum Slope: Under exceptional circumstances, some manufacturers might allow operation on a slight slope, typically no more than 3°. However, this requires careful consideration and adherence to specific manufacturer guidelines.

Why Slope Matters:

When a crane operates on a slope, its center of gravity shifts, affecting its stability.  The steeper the slope, the greater the risk of:

•Tipping: The crane could overturn if the center of gravity moves beyond its base of support.

•Reduced Lifting Capacity: The crane’s lifting capacity is typically reduced on a slope due to the altered weight distribution.
