Make Mold

 

Make a crane track shoe mold with the same proportions as the drawings, and then facilitate the later injection of sand and molten steel.

The mold we use is of precise size, which facilitates the later finishing of the crawler shoe.

Sand Mold

 

A sand mold is a casting mold that uses sand as the main modeling material.

We choose the highest quality raw materials so that the sand mold and core have a certain strength and will not be deformed or damaged during the handling,

molding and pouring of liquid metal, ensuring the quality of the crawler crane track shoe.

Casting

Pour the molten steel smelted into the sand mold. Using castings, the crane track pad can ensure its working performance and mechanical performance requirements, and productivity can also be guaranteed.

Polishing Riser Milling

Polish the formed track shoe to make the crawler shoe smoother. In addition to being ornamental, the track shoe can also perfectly match the crawler crane.

Quenching&Tenpering

Purpose:

1) Reduce internal stress and reduce brittleness. There is a lot of stress and brittleness in quenched parts. If it is not tempered in time, the track shoe will often deform or even crack.

2) Adjust the mechanical properties of the crane shoe. After quenching, the workpiece has high hardness and high brittleness. In order to meet the different performance requirements of various workpieces, it can be adjusted by tempering, hardness, strength, plasticity and toughness.

3) Stabilize the size of the track pad. The metallographic structure can be stabilized by tempering to ensure that no deformation will occur during future use.

Machanical Properties Test

Track pad will conduct tensile test and impact test to check whether the track shoe’s tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, and impact toughness meet the qualified standards.

Through the test, at the same time analyze whether the hardness of the track shoe is qualified.

Surface Quenching

The purpose is to improve the hardness, wear resistance and fatigue strength of the track shoe surface, increase the toughness inside the track shoe, so that the track link can guarantee long-term work.

Ultrasonic Testing

Ultrasonic Testing uses ultrasonic waves to non-destructively inspect internal defects and scars of materials or mechanical parts. It can be inspected without damaging the interior and is one of the most common methods of inspecting the interior of a product.

Painting
