All Starts With "Raw Materials"
Raw materials are the first step in quality assurance. Choosing the right raw materials can ensure product quality and achieve a higher cost performance. To achieve this, we source all our steel materials from domestic major factories such as BAOWU and HBIS. For some special steels, we import them from Europe. All steel materials come with inspection reports, and upon arrival at our warehouse,our quality control personnel randomly inspect 10-20% of the materials. Furthermore, not all parts are made of the same material. We will choose the appropriate material. For example, the Manitowoc 8500 track roller is most suitable to be produced with Round Steel 40Mn2. If use a lower-quality material like square steel grade 50Mn would make the roller easily break.
Most Important Is "Production Standards"
We have a complete production standard system and can ensure the connection and adjustment of various production links and standards. Thereby ensuring product quality and improving production efficiency, improving the competitiveness of our products. Take the Manitowoc MLC165 Track Pad casting standard as an example: All casting should be Austenitized at 900°C for one Hr per every inch of casting thickness. Then Quenched on water and Tempered for sufficient amount of temperature and time. All heat treatment should be carried out after castings reach temperature lower than 200°C. The general hardness after QT to be 280-320 BHN. All test specimen to be placed in HT furnace with each relevant batch of casting.

Our product quality inspection system consists of four main components: in-process inspection during production, semi-finished product inspection, incoming inspection, and pre-shipment inspection.The in-process inspection includes testing of random samples taken during the production process such as chemical composition and mechanical performance. These tests can timely detect potential quality issues and ensure parts quality meets requirements.The semi-finished product inspection includes non-destructive testing and cutting testing.
